sustainable design, policies, and regulations
Sustainable Design, Policies, and Regulations or SDPR is the first extension subject that I took. Dr. Sujatavani is the module coordinator for this module, as well as my tutor. This module focuses on the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals which is targeted to achieve by 2030.

Project I is a group project about sustainable issues in architecture in response to United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals that can be explored through 3 selected themes; Flood and Landslide, Building and wellbeing/Built environment, and Climate resilient residential buildings/development. For this, we picked the topic wellbeing relating to universities.

Project II is exploring local architecture or built environment responding to a specific UN SDG. This is an individual project where we have to pick a building that is made after 2005, have a site visit, and analyze it according to the SDG we picked. For this, I picked IKEA Cheras and SDG7.
